1. The Car Park -
starting point for a tour of the garden
There is parking for around 20 cars in the Car Park – coaches
welcome but by appointment please.
The Car Park may also be used by visitors who only wish to make
use of our award-winning Tea Room.
The ‘Handkerchief Tree’ (Davidia involucrata), which overhangs
the hedge on the south side of the Car Park, is usually at its spectacular
best in the middle of May.
Nearby is the sculpture ‘Bannut’ created
in 2009 by Steve Elsby – ‘Chainsaw Sculptor Extraordinaire’ to celebrate
the Silver Anniversary of The Garden at The Bannut.
