8. Knot Garden

Surrounded by a yew hedge, the Knot Garden is planted entirely with Irish heathers: the ‘knots’ consisting of low green and gold hedges of Erica erigena ‘W T Rackliff’ and ‘Golden Lady’. In the centre is a simple, mill-stone water feature.
